Anne Sargent Walker (1947, American) is an award winning artist with a studio in Framingham, MA. Many of her paintings in oil and acrylic combine fragments of vintage wallpaper and are symbolic of relationships to the natural world. Polka Dots is one of her Polka dot paintings in oil with wallpaper on wood panel featuring a male downy woodpecker, 12x12. It was created in 2011 and is in excellent condition. Walker's work is featured in Artscope Magazine, gallery exhibitions, and collections throughout the US exploring the effects of climate change on our environment and the increasing threat to migratory birds.
